541GO Race Officer app for iPhone is available now.

It works on its own, or with your existing sailing scoring software to streamline on the water sailing race management. 541GO Race Officer is free to download and use.

541GO Race Officer has been carefully designed to be easy to use on the water:

  • Record finish times with one click*.

*541GO Race Officer remembers past performance and arranges boats in most likely finishing order, making them easy to find, particularly in bigger fleets.

  • Large, clear buttons.

  • Simple workflow anyone can use.

  • Share scratch results directly to Facebook, as soon as the last boat crosses the line.

  • Record up to 5 minutes of video and audio per race for later verification of results, including confirmation of OCS/individual recalls and finishing order. 

  • Email a results spreadsheet to the race office for import into desktop scoring software, or to finalize, print and post on the regatta notice board.*

*Requires in-app purchases. Bundles of 1, 5, 10 or 20 emails can be purchased for less than the cost of a cup of coffee.

  • Set up races in advance, with pre-set start times (5 minute warning).

  • Create new races from scratch, or copy a previous race including boats in 3 clicks - then, easily modify race details like start time, location, time limit, add or remove boats, and you're ready to go.

  • Manage multiple races simultaneously.

  • Record statuses and infringements as they happen, simply by long-pressing a boat's button on the Race screen. Available statuses include OCS, BFD, UFD, DNF, DNS, RET, DSQ, ZFP*, SCP*. 

*SCP and ZFP statuses are calculated as the finish place multiplied by 0.2 and rounded. Multiple penalties cannot currently be applied to the same boat using the 541GO Race Officer app.
